Wood Railroad Ties

Pacwest can offer a variety of treated wood railroad ties as well as other treated railroad products. Wood railroad ties include AREMA grade, Industrial grade, and landscape grade in addition to all sizes and lengths of switch ties. Treated wood railroad ties are available in 6x8 thru 7x9 sizes in lengths to 26'
Treated wood railroad ties can be supplied end-plated and also pre-bored with or without tie plates attached. All treated wood railroad ties can be packaged for forklift unloading from trucks or centerbeam flatcars or bulk loaded in gondolas. Treated wood railroad ties can be pre-packaged in switch sets from 8' or 8'6" up through 17' or longer on request.
Available treatments include Creosote, Pentachlorophenol, Copper Napthenate, and ACZA.
