Pacific Western Lumber's waney cants are cut from standing dead Lodgepole pine and Spruce.  We cut them in sizes ranging from 6x6 through 16x16.  They are all cut at a minimum of 1/2" oversized.  This allows enough wood to yield a full dimension lathe turned house log. Our standard cut yields a length heavy to 16'.  We can cut lengths up to 40' on special order.
