Badger Board™ comes in custom thicknesses and widths laminated with a vinyl film that is factory-applied in 16′ lengths. This concrete form provides enhanced alkalinity resistance versus other concrete forms available on the market today. Badger Board™ is available in 1/2″ – 1-1/8″ thicknesses, and Badger Board™ Flex is available in 1/8″ and 1/4″ thicknesses, making it perfect for radius pours. Both products are a one-step layup, and have waterproof glue bonds. All Contact Industries products are made in the USA.
Badger Board™ products lead the Concrete Edge Forming industry by offering reductions in labor and waste that no other products can offer. Made in the USA, Badger Board™ uses a proprietary vinyl surface overlaid onto edge-sealed, engineered western softwood lumber, and is able to offer up to 60 pour reuses on 2-sided products. The vinyl face allows for the product to be easily stripped from the concrete, and the engineered softwood lumber ensures the straightest boards on the market.
If you deal with challenging radius pours, make sure you ask about Badger Board™ FLEX which has all the properties of Badger Board™ except it’s on a flexible composite core allowing for high reuse rates, and significantly reduced set up times.
If you’re ready to save time, money, and trips to the dump…stop throwing away lumber and BADGER UP!
Badger Board™ is available with one (optional) or two (standard) faces. Panels with a single face must have the back sealed with a phenolic paper.
– Gloss level of concrete surface: Medium
– Wood grain transfer to concrete surface: Minimal
– Wood defect transfer to concrete: Minimal
– Sugaring: None
– Maintenance: Clean face with water jet after each use.
All forming products from Contact Industries are factory edge sealed with an acrylic penetrating sealer.
Job built: up to 30 pours per side Estimated pours are not guaranteed because the number of pours will vary due to job site handling and panel maintenance, vertical or horizontal use, form release agent, concrete mix design/strength, alkalinity, pour rate and other factors.
Release coating initially not needed. If concrete becomes difficult to remove, coat faces with Solenis Parocol 700N, Nox-Crete or an equivalent. Avoid release agents containing fuel oils, recycled oils or solvents. Once surface is treated continue to clean surface and then retreat for the remainder of the life of the form.
Badger Board™ is available in 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/4″ and 1-1/8″. Standard widths are: 6″, 8″, 12″ and 16″. Non-standard thicknesses, widths and lengths meeting volume requirements are available.
