Pacific Western Lumber
Corporation, known in the trade as "Pacwest" was founded in 1985 as
an industrial Lumber wholesaler located in Lakewood, Washington.
At that time, the 4 principles had a combined 75 years in the Lumber
business. Our experience in Northwest softwoods has served our
clients well. Whether their needs are in Crane Mats, Scaffold
Plank, or Heat treated industrial crating destined for the Far East,
Pacwest Lumber has become a benchmark by which other wholesale and
manufactures are judged.
Our sales figures speak for themselves; in 1985, total domestic
and overseas shipments were less than $2,000,000. Our 2004
total lumber and Plywood shipments will exceed $35,000,000.
And we are still growing. With 2 offices: Tacoma, Washington
and Portland, Oregon, a 12 man trading staff, Pacwest can amply fill
your technical and specialty requirements quickly and competitively.
If you need dimension and small timber, the Portland office excels
at green Douglas fir and all panel items.
Give them a call.
Pacific Western Lumber's expertise has expanded to include Log
Home components as well as laminated decking, spindles, fascia, and
fractional cutting items for world wide shipments.
For those
interested in Kiln Dried Timbers, our facility in British Columbia
has successfully dried All Grades of Douglas Fir items up to 12x14"
- 30' length.
Remember, the tougher the requirement, the better our
performance... Let Pacific Western serve you!
